Sayers Croft 2019
Children from Year 5 and Year 6 departed on their school journey to Sayers Croft in Ewhurst on Monday 20th May 2019.
Sayers Croft is a beautiful, safe site with 56 acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds and fields and has been providing quality outdoor experiences for young people for over 70 years.
Visitors experience a wide choice of activities, ranging from stream walking to high ropes.
Day One
Year 5 and Year 6 had a very busy first day!
Day one included - woods compass (group 3), shelter building (group 2), high ropes (group 1), a stream walk and giant games.
They all slept well and are looking forward to their second day.
Day Two
Year 5 and Year 6 had a tiring day
Day two included - a 6 mile walk to Pitch Hill and back, an animal talk with Graham Cornick and a campfire with marshmallows.
They all persevered with the long walk and their legs were aching by the end.
Day Three - our last day
Year 5 and Year 6 needed to carry out lots of activities on their last morning!
Day three included - woods compass (group 1 and 2), shelter building (group 1 and 3), high ropes (group 3), a stream walk and giant games.
They are all looking forward to getting home and seeing you all.
